Baldridge Sentenced For Sex Crime
The second person in a disturbing sex crime was sentenced this morning in Kosciusko County Superior Court I.
Andrew Baldridge, 45, of Ross Avenue, Warsaw, was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison for his role in forcing sex on his own nephew.
Warsaw Police arrested Baldridge and his wife, Autum Baldridge, 30, in December 2011 charging them both with forcing sex on a 15-year-old boy. Both were initially charged with class B felonies of criminal deviant conduct and sexual misconduct with a minor. Police say there were multiple encounters with the teen from January to September 2011.
At the Aug. 7, 2012, sentencing of Autum Baldridge, Judge Duane Huffer said, “We demand that people who are adults protect children, especially children under the age of 16. You failed to protect a child.”
Autum Baldridge was sentenced to four years in prison. Her actual sentence included four years in Indiana Department of Corrections with two days credit served. Two years of the term were suspended and she will serve that time on probation. Terms of her probation state she is prohibited from consuming alcohol or even being in a bar. She must also undergo counseling as established by the probation department. Her projected release date is Aug. 5, 2013.
In court today, Andrew Baldridge was given a 6 1/2 year sentence for his role. He accepted a plea agreement and was sentenced for class c felony sexual misconduct with a minor charge. Baldridge was given 266 day credit for time already served.
