Rachael Leigh Adams, 47, of Silver Lake, Ind., passed away at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in her residence.

On May 7, 1965, she was born in Columbia City, Ind., to Billy R. and Linda (Whitaker) Adams. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.

Rachael was a wonderful mother and friend, who would do anything for anybody. She loved working on cars and she also loved animals, especially her dog, Otis. She will be sorely missed by her son, family and friends.

Rachael is survived by her son: Billy Slone, Silver Lake; a grandson: Dustin Compton, Lagro, Ind.; two sisters: Ival Blocher, Silver Lake; and Billie Fogle, Orangeburg, S.C.; her companion: Darrell Randall Ousley, Silver Lake; four nieces, one nephew and eight great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Gladys Pelphry.

Visitation hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date.

There are no services planned.
