Howard Colquitt, 68, of Wetumka, Okla., passed away on Jan. 24, 2013, at the Heart Hospital South in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He was born on Dec. 20, 1944, in Corsicana, Texas, to Morris and Ruth (Smith) Colquitt.

He is survived by his son: David (Sheryl) Colquitt, Leesburg, Ind.; two daughters: Lori (Ken) Skwarcan, Carmel, Ind.; Amber Colquitt, Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren: Cameron, McKenzie and Austin Skwarcan; Nick Colquitt; and Kelsey Nicholson; two sisters: Joyce Baker; and Barbara Budnick; one brother: Dan Colquitt.

To honor the wishes of their father, the children of Howard Colquitt will all gather in the spring and spread his ashes among his favorite fishing spots in Oklahoma. All preparations are being handled by Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, Ind.
