Kenneth E. Schneider, 93, of Bluffton, Ind., and formerly of Leesburg, Ind., passed away on Jan. 26, 2013, at the Bluffton Hospital.

He was born on March 10, 1919 in Indianapolis, IN to Ernest W. & Naomi E. (Ungericht) Schneider. On October 5, 1946 he married Esther Jane Okey who preceded him in 1994. He moved to the Leesburg, Ind., area in 1978 coming from Anderson, Ind.

He had resided with his daughter in Bluffton since 2006.  He was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church. He belonged to the Centre Lodge #23 (Masonic) in Indianapolis, Ind., Scottish Rite, Indianapolis and the Lakeland Kiwanis Club of North Webster, Ind.

He is survived by his daughter: Paula Jane Beck, Bluffton; one son: Jeffery Schneider, South Bend, Ind; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by his wife, his son, Kenneth, and a brother.

Private interment will be at the Crownhill Cemetery in Indianapolis. A Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
