Alek Jansen

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced that Warsaw Community High School senior Alek J. Jansen has progressed from a National Semifinalist to that of a National Finalist for the 2013 award.The selection of some 8,300 Merit Scholarship winners from a group of more than 15,000 National Finalists is now in progress. In March, NMSC will begin mailing scholarship offers to winners at their home addresses and confidential notices to their high school principals. Major news media announcements of these winners will be made by NMSC in April, May and June of this year.

Alek is the son of Dr. Dean and Carol Lyn Jansen of Warsaw.
