UPDATE: Teen Stable Following Roll-over Crash

Blood test results are pending as the Kosciusko County Fatal Accident Crash Team continues its investigation into a single vehicle crash that injured two North Manchester men.
Police were called at about 5:37 p.m. Saturday to an area of SR 13 near CR 150 South. A 911 caller reported a single vehicle had crashed just north of Pierceton.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies reported Justin D. Heeter, 18, of North Manchester, was driving the car that left SR 13 for an unknown reason and rolled several times into a field. The car came to rest on its top several hundred feet of the road.
Heeter sustained a lower leg injury and was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
A passenger in the car, Evan W. Altimus, 19, also of North Manchester, was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne with an arm injury. He is currently listed in stable condition.
Members of the Pierceton Fire Department extracted both occupants from the wreckage. Officers stated the crash is still under investigation pending legal blood draw as required.
The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team was assisted at the scene by members of the Pierceton Fire Department, Pierceton Police Department, Multi-Township EMS and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
