Warsaw Student Accepted To West Point
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) congratulates Collin Jeffrey Parker of Warsaw on his acceptance into the United States Military Academy at West Point. Coats nominated Parker, a senior at Culver Military Academy, for an appointment to West Point.
“There is no greater honor for an American citizen than wearing the uniform in service to the United States,” said Coats. “I congratulate Collin on this distinguished honor and believe his talents and abilities will make him an outstanding cadet. I look forward to hearing of his continued success.”
Parker serves as president of the student council and captain of the wresting team. He also is a recipient of the Duchossois Scholarship, which covers full tuition at Culver Military Academy and is based on superior academic, citizenship and character achievement.
Parker is the son of Chris and Melissa Long and Jeffrey Parker.
