Irene L. Deneve
Irene L. Deneve, 99, of North Manchester, Ind., and formerly of Sidney, Ind., passed away at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center.
She was born at Edgerton, Ohio, on May 11, 1913, to Lewis H. and Hattie (Miller) Klinker. On Feb. 15, 1936, she married Frank E. Deneve. He died April 13, 2002.
Irene was a homemaker and farmed with her husband. She was the oldest member and longest living member of North Manchester Missionary Church.
She is survived by two sons: Richard (Dorene) Deneve, North Manchester; and John (Linda) Deneve, Claypool, Ind.; two daughters: Dolores Sturdevant, Dunnellon, Fla.; and Mary (Roger) Baker, South Whitley, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a sister: Helen Marquart, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service on Thursday, March 14, in North Manchester Missionary Church, 806 E. SR 114, North Manchester. Pastor Dan Binkley will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
