Eppley Signs With Indianapolis
SYRACUSE — Wawasee senior lineman Chad Eppley has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at the University of Indianapolis.
Eppley was a three-year starter on the offensive line and started two years on the defensive line for head coach Tom Wogomon’s Wawasee football team. Eppley was an All-Northern Lakes Conference team honoree his junior and senior seasons and helped Wawasee turn around a program that finished runner-up in the NLC his junior season and reached the sectional championship game his senior season.
Eppley will likely be brought in as an offensive lineman at Indianapolis.
Eppley, who will study secondary mathematics education, is ranked 59th of 217 in his graduating class and currently has a 9.4 GPA (on a 12 scale).
“I really liked the facilities there, the class sizes and the coaching staff,” Eppley said of his decision to choose the University of Indianapolis. “Indy is a winning program, and they are all about winning. They were one win away from making the Division II national championship game. The class size is nice, I will get the attention I need.”
