Joan Koller
Joan Koller, 91, of North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 8:48 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.
She was born Aug. 24, 1921, in North Manchester, Ind., to Floren H. and Faye (Jenkins) Lautzenhiser. She graduated from Chester High School in 1939 and attended Manchester College. On Oct. 22, 1944, she married Charles R. Koller.
Joan was a homemaker and taught at the Kindergarten Level. She also worked in retail crafts and hobby shops. She was a member of United Methodist Church, North Manchester, Ind and Xi Iota Xi.
She is survived by her husband; five sons: James (Sue) Koller, Geneva, Ill.; John (Gloria) Koller, Fort Myers, Fla.; William (Nancy) Koller, Ellicott City, Md.; Robert (Beverly) Koller, Baltimore, Md.; and David (Cathy) Koller, Saline, Mich.; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second Street, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at the church. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
