Cory G. Baker, 33, North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 6 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, in his residence.

He was born Oct. 3, 1979 in Wabash, Ind., to Rodney and Darlene (Baker) Day who now reside in North Manchester. Cory graduated from Manchester High School in 1999 and attended truck driving school. He was a truck driver for Metztger Trucking, Silver Lake, Ind., for seven years and for DLRS Leasing, North Manchester, since 2011. He loved his guns and four wheeling.

He is survived by his parents; two brothers: Jeremie J. (Kim) Baker, Winona Lake, Ind.; and Michael L. (Jadee) Baker, North Manchester; one sister: Renae A. Baker, Jamestown, N.Y.; maternal grandmother: Donna L. Baker, Warsaw; and five nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 pm. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29, at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
