NORTH WEBSTER — Repeating as North Webster Volleyball League champions, Solid Force survived a push from Team Troy but prevailed, 14-25, 25-19, 16-14 Monday night in the league finalé at the North Webster Community Center.

Troy advanced to the title game by beating Officially Awesome 25-18, 25-21. Solid Force were undefeated in the tournament, running 3-0 after a dominating regular season, and gave Troy its two losses in the double-elimination tournament.

The champs are, from left to right, Bob Brumfield, Bob Bosstick, Kristi Howell, Phil Camden, Tina Conley, Amanda Ertel-Janda, Angie Huston and Dan Huston.

The North Webster Community Center, sponsors of the winter volleyball leagues, will host a Co-ed sand volleyball league beginning in mid-May, with a tournament scheduled to take place during the Mermaid Festival in June.
