Faulkner Named Director Of KCSS
The Board of Kosciusko Community Senior Services is pleased to announce the exciting changes taking place at KCSS.
The new executive director, Jo Faulkner, has many new planned activities on the horizon for the seniors of Kosciusko County that will take KCSS into a new direction and with the potential for expanded services. Faulkner is replacing Jack Felger, who has retired after 18 years of service to the seniors in our county.
Faulkner, a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and Bethel College, brings with her 15 years of experience in the not-for-profit world.
“United Way looks forward to working with Jo as the new director of KCSS.
We anticipate the growing development of the organization which will benefit the senior of our community,” said Pat Coy of United Way.
At his retirement party, Jake Handel, outgoing president of the board of directors, thanked Felger on behalf of the board for Felger’s service to the community and the fact that under his supervision, the agency saw the expansion of the frozen emergency meals to seniors as well as the transportation service.
“Independent seniors are such an asset to our community,” said Faulkner. “Keeping healthy by participating in activities that will enhance a person’s physical, social, and mental ability is a goal we hope to help each member achieve. I am thrilled to watch everything we have planned unfold in our agency.”
