UPDATE: Woman Flown From Milford Crash
Alisha M. Brower, 17, of North Webster, was reportedly in serious condition today in a Fort Wayne Hospital with injuries she sustained in an accident Monday afternoon.
Brower suffered head and internal injuries when she pulled her car into the path of a van at CR 300 East and CR 1050 North, Milford, at 3:20 p.m. According to a police report, Brower was westbound in a Volkswagon Jetta and did stop at the intersection before pulling directly into the path of a northbound van driven by Glen Hochstetler of Leesburg.
The van struck the driver’s side door. Hochstetler suffered minor injuries. After the initial impact, Brower’s vehicle struck a utility pole, breaking the pole. The intersection was closed until the appropriate utility crew could arrive to replace the pole.

Samaritan made a landing at Mishler Funeral Home at SR 15 and CR 900 North, Milford, to transport Brower from the scene of the accident.
