Salvage Business Expansion Continued
Among the agenda items considered by Kosciusko County Board of Zoning Appeals during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday in Warsaw was a petition by Daniel Stuckman Jr. to expand his salvage business on Koher Road, south of Promentory Point in Turkey Creek Township.
The petition had been continued from the March meeting to allow Stuckman to reach a compromise with nearby property owners who were concerned about the expansion. The BZA approved the petition with the condition no further expansion takes place other than a 60 x 84 feet new building being built.
Also on the agenda:
• A variance was granted to allow a residence and mechanicals to remain at an elevation lower than required by county ordinance for the Sherlock family on Turkey Creek Drive, east of Higbee Street in Milford. A flood statement must be placed on the property deed.
