FC Indiana To Take On Seattle Reign
MISHAWAKA – FC Indiana, a women’s soccer club based in Goshen, will face star-studded professional side Seattle Reign on Monday, April 15, at Marian High School in Mishawaka. Start time is set for 7 p.m.
Tickets are $15 general admission.
Elite women’s soccer is returning to Northern Indiana, and this time, it will include familiar faces for women’s soccer fans. In addition to US internationals Keelin Winters and Christine Nairn, the Reign roster includes Canadian Olympic bronze winners Kaylyn Kyle and Emily Zurer and Mexico stars Theresa Noyola and Jenny Ruiz.
US national team stars Hope Solo and Megan Rapinoe are members of the Reign, but will not play because of injury and European commitments, respectively.
FC Indiana has won four national championships; WPSL (2005 and 2007) and Women’s Open Cup (2005 and 2008) and plays home matches at Mishawaka Marian Soccer Stadium.
