UPDATE: Webster Man Dies From Crash Injuries
A North Webster man seriously hurt in a Monday accident in Noble County has died.
According to Jackie Bryan of the Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Roy Messer, 61, passed away from internal injuries he sustained in yesterday morning’s crash.
NCSD deputies investigated the crash at about 8:03 a.m. on U.S. 6 near Kendallville. Messer was westbound on U.S. 6 when his car drifted across the center line of U.S. 6 at CR 600 East. Messer’s vehicle collided nearly head on with another vehicle that was eastbound on U.S. 6. The driver of the second vehicle, Jeremy Medina of South Bend, was not hurt.
Indiana State Police closed the highway down for about two hours while debris was cleared and the investigation completed.
