Dixie C. Knisley, 52, of Milford, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at her home.

She was born July 27, 1960, in Elkhart, Ind., to Kenneth R. and Kathryn L (Huey) Knisley.

She was a lifetime Syracuse / Milford area resident and attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was a homemaker and attended the Rock Church in Cromwell, Ind.

She is survived by two sons: Arron (Jennifer) Knisley, LaGrange, Ind.; and Courtney (companion, Pam Carlin) Knisley, Milford; four grandchildren; her parents: Kenneth and Kathryn Knisley, Syracuse, Ind.; three brothers: Brian (Sarah) Knisley, Syracuse; Kevin Knisley, Bristol, Ind.; and Dana (Gloria) Knisley, Syracuse.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Sarah Tuttle of the church officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Solomon Creek Cemetery.
