Kokomo Performing Arts Summer Series
KOKOMO – The Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion has announced the free 2013 summer concert series at Foster Park located in downtown Kokomo with an exceptionally strong and diverse lineup featuring classic rock, country, classic hits, Motown, pop, R&B and more.
“It is our goal to bring quality entertainment to Kokomo and drive people from the area and beyond to our fine city. With a diverse lineup of acts we hope to attract fans of all walks of life to our free summer concert series,” said Brett Daniels, Talent Coordinator for Kokomo Arts Pavilion at Foster Park.
To kick off this year’s series, the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion welcomes John Ford Coley on Friday, May 3. The Grammy nominated, multi-platinum singer and songwriter is most remembered performing as a duo with England Dan on such hits as “I’d Really Love To See You Tonight,” “Nights Are Forever Without You” and “Love Is The Answer.” Alt-country singer and songwriter, Tim Easton, will perform on Saturday, May 18 at the Rhum Academy. His song, “Burgundy Red,” won the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop award for ‘Best Americana Song’ in 2009.
