Stoll Leads Lancers On Links
FORT WAYNE – Junior Trey Stoll highlighted the efforts of the Grace College men’s golf team at the 2013 Crossroads League Championships.
Stoll placed second on the individual leaderboard as the Lancers finished in seventh as a team at the Orchard Ridge Country Club.
Grace’s team total of 949 finished 10 shots out of fourth place in the three-round tournament, which was won by Marian University with an 888.
Stoll lowered his score in each round. After firing a 74-73 in his first two rounds, Stoll led all players in the third round with a 71.
Taylor Fanning (79-76-84) was second on Grace’s team, and Caleb Rovenstine was one stroke behind in third (79-84-77).
Kyle Condon carded a 253 to finish as Grace’s fourth scorer, and Taylor Breeden shot an 83 to score for Grace in the second round.
