Cole Duane Adams
Cole Duane Adams, 13, of South Bend, Ind., and formerly of Warsaw, Ind., passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 21, 2000, in Warsaw to Eric Duane Adams and Shawna Marie (Jackson) Roberts. Cole was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., for six years, having lived in South Bend, Ind., for the past two months.
He had attended Madison Elementary School in Warsaw, Forest Park Elementary School and Lakeside Elementary School, both in Fort Wayne, Ind., and most recently he was a student at Marshall Intermediate School in South Bend.
He is survived by his mother: Shawna Marie (Matt) Roberts, South Bend; his father: Eric (Rebecca) Adams, Warsaw; two brothers: Seth and Tyler Adams, both of South Bend; four stepsisters: Kelsey and Nikki Kendall, both of Warsaw; and Madison and Kaylie Roberts, both of Fort Wayne; grandparents: Eva Adams, North Manchester, Ind.; Debra Pakus, Akron, Ind.; Julie and Wynn Schwalm, Syracuse, Ind.; Rick and Stephanie Jackson, Angola, Ind.; step-grandparents: Pat and Ron Jones, Kokomo, Ind.; Rosie and Jim Rowe, Warsaw, Ind.; and great-grandparents: Jim and Jane Rush, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Luke Adams; and two grandparents: Lyle Bonewitz and Leonard Adams.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at First Christian Church, 115 Park Ridge Dr., Warsaw. His funeral service will follow at p.m. in the church and be officiated by Pastor Gary Boschain. Burial will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Ind.
