Manchester Art Festival June 14-15
Manchester Main Street is hosting this summer’s first-ever Eel River Arts Festival, Friday and Saturday, June 14-15.
To kick off the festivities, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, a “Celebration of the Arts” party will be held outdoors at Riverbridge Electric, overlooking the Eel River. Enjoy specialty treats and live performances from North Manchester’s finest restaurants and talented artists. Indulge your inner artist and win silent auction treasures or create your own masterpiece. Relax by the river with friends on a warm evening under the twinkling lights and stars.
On Saturday, June 15, stroll downtown for a daytime Art Fair in the Eel River Gardens parking lot, against the backdrop of North Manchester’s new historic downtown streetscape. The art fair will highlight area artists’ work and provide creative enrichment activities for all ages.
Tickets are $30 for the June 14 celebration party and are available now at the Manchester Main Street office in the chamber building (109 N. Market St.) or online at www.manchestermainstreet.org. Attendance is limited to 200 guests. RSVP by May 15 to guarantee your space. The reservation deadline is May 31.
Saturday’s art fair is free to the public.
