Spike and the Bulldogs come to the Honeywell Center’s Legacy Hall on Friday, Aug. 2. Doors will open at 7 p.m., the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event, sponsored by First Merchants Bank, go on sale 8 p.m. this Thursday, May 16.

Spike & the Bulldogs are famous for their crowd appeal and classic ’50s and ’60s music.  They have performed with artists such as The Beach Boys, Chubby Checker, Herman’s Hermits and Mike Smith of the Dave Clark Five. Those attending are encouraged to don their poodle skirts, leather jackets and pompadours, and join in the sock hop.

Bleacher seating is $5 per person; table seats are $17 each, or tables for groups of eight are $120. Tickets may be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 260-563-1102.
