Erika Jansen, daughter of Dr. Leo Jansen and Carol Lyn Jansen of Warsaw, was recently announced as a member of the Furman University 2013 Spring dean’s list.

The school is located in Greenville, S.C. Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system. 

Furman is a private, undergraduate liberal arts college of 2,600 students in Greenville, S.C. Widely recognized for its rigorous academic program and strong faculty, the university has a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and ranks among the nation’s top colleges in the number of National Merit Scholars enrolled.
