Rhonda Sue Phifer
Rhonda Sue Phifer, 54, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013.
She was born on Dec. 14, 1958, in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Virgil E. Rutter and Bette J. (Osborn) Rutter, who survives in Syracuse, Ind. On Jan. 27, 1979, she was married to Don Phifer, who survives in Warsaw.
She was a graduate of Brown County High School in 1977. Moving to Kosciusko County, Ind., in February 1984, where she became a realtor in 2005. She worked for Lucas Realty, Re/Max Realtors, and Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber. She was a Christian woman with a deep Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son: Chris (Bernice) Phifer, Pierceton, Ind.; daughter: Lisa Henrickson, Pierceton, Ind.; five grandchildren; one brother: Sam Rutter, Whiteland, Ind.; three sisters: Michelle (David) Bjella, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Pam Hildebrand, Indianapolis; and Debbie (Don) Steele, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her father Virgil E. Rutter in 2002, and her son Jason in 1997.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 20, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Terry Bradford
