Tee Up For Safe Kids Golf Outing
GOSHEN – The Safe Kids Golf Challenge is set for May 22 at Black Squirrel Golf Club in Goshen. The outing, with lunch at noon and first tee at 1 p.m., is a four-man scramble with proceeds directly benefitting the children and families in Elkhart County through the Safe Kids program.
Entry is $60 per golfer (or $220 per team), which includes lunch, greens fees, cart, refreshments and a player appreciation package. Raffle tickets, door prizes and hole prizes will also be available in conjunction with the tournament.
“Safe Kids Elkhart County is changing the way people think about unintentional injuries and making a positive impact on the safety in our community’s children,” said Menassah Nelson, coordinator. “All of this is being accomplished with a small staff and lots of dedicated volunteers.”
