United Way Announces 2013 Campaign Chair
United Way of Kosciusko County, Inc. is excited to announce Erin Rowland Jones, Rowland Law Office, Warsaw, as the 2013 General Campaign Chair. This year marks the 56th year of the United Way Campaign in Kosciusko County.
Ms. Rowland Jones has been involved with United Way of Kosciusko County since 2007 in many capacities and recognizes the importance of the organization within our community. She serves on the UWKC Board of Directors and is currently the Board President. She has assembled a dynamic team which will work with her throughout this year’s campaign. Her campaign cabinet unit chairs include: Mr. Bill Hartman, Biomet; Ms. Shelly Fraley, Lake City Bank; Ms. Jeri Burkhart, Indiana Tech; and Mr. Randy Polston, Grace College and Seminary. Her division chairs include Mr. Denny Cripe, RR Donnelley (retired); Ms. Allison Alderfer, Akzo Nobel; Ms. Johanna Hayes-Brookins, DePuy Synthes; Ms. Jennifer Orr, Lake City Bank; Ms. Yvonne Keirn, North Pointe Cinemas; Mr. Jason Hill, Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw; Ms. Karen Bowling, Ivy Tech; Mr. Dennis Duncan, Grace College and Seminary and Mr. Barry Andrew, Kosciusko County Probation.
Ms. Rowland Jones is a native of Kosciusko County and attended Warsaw Community Schools. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington and her law degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. She and her husband, Jerrad, reside in Warsaw. She is also active in the community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Beaman Home and Secretary of the Kosciusko County Bar Association.
United Way of Kosciusko County continues to focus on education, income, and health and funds programs which have proven positive outcomes in these areas. United Way continues to invest the resources raised with the intention to make sustained and measurable improvements in our county. Erin and her team will challenge the residents of Kosciusko County to be part of the change in our community and show again that we know how to “live united”.
