Bomb Squad Responded To Syracuse
Some individuals may have seen vehicles in Syracuse today noting the South Bend Bomb Squad.
There was nothing to be worried about, though, the town wasn’t under attack and no one was in real danger.
Syracuse Police Chief Tony Ciriello stated the police department had found a homemade firework, large in size, that appeared old and unstable. After contacting the South Bend Bomb Squad to find out what should be done, the squad opted to make a trip to Syracuse.
Ciriello stated the squad showed up, checked the homemade item, placed it in a container and detonated it.
