Accidents
Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, 4:04 p.m. North Huntington Street, south of West Boston Street. Drivers: Ken W. Swartz, 46, East CR 1120N, Syracuse and Michael Zehr, 17, CR 28, Goshen. Zehr was slowing his motorcycle down to make a turn into a private driveway when it was struck from behind by the Swartz vehicle. Damage estimated at under $1,000.
Monday, June 24, 9:01 p.m. East Pickwick Road and North Elnora Drive. Driver: Jennifer L. Finlinson, 43, North Venetian Drive, Syracuse. Finlinson did not see a downed powerline due to heavy rain which fell from the storm. The powerline became caught in the right front fender causing the pole to hit the back of the vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Incidents
Officers from the Syracuse Police investigated the following incidents:
- Monday, June 24, 9 a.m. Jack Jamison, South Huntington Street, Syracuse, reported one of the boats he has for sale had been scratched,
- Wednesday, June 19, 1 p.m. Ronald Decke, guardian of Harold and LaDonna Agler, no town listed, reported their credit card had been stolen and used by an individual in Syracuse.
- Sunday, 12:12 a.m. East County Line Road. Police were called to an underage alcohol party and found four minors had consumed alcohol and three adults, all over the age of 21, were also drinking with the minors. Information on all parties involved has been turned over to the prosecutor’s office.
- Saturday, 4:47 a.m. Britany Wilmot, East Palm Drive, Syracuse, reported the theft of money from her purse.
Arrests
Officers from the Syracuse Police made the following arrests:
Sunday, 4:45 a.m. Timothy Ardny II, 23, Cassandra Drive Syracuse arrested for invasion of privacy and domestic battery. Bond: $10,000. Police were called to Sycamore and West Pickwick Drive for a fight and learned active protective orders were in place against the two parties involved. Charges are pending against another individual with possible further charges on both following review by the prosecutor’s office.
Thursday, 5:37 a.m. Cesar Octavio Bautista Lopez, 20, Robin Road, Warsaw, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended after being stopped for a traffic violation. Bond: $355.
