Donald Kollman
Donald Kollman, 83, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation of Warsaw.
On May 20, 1930, he was born in Indianapolis, Ind., to Frank L. and Viola (Overhiser) Kollmann. Donald served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and the Moose Lodge, Warsaw. He married Tammy Schultz Pozorski on Feb. 13, 2013, in Warsaw. She survives.
Donald moved to Warsaw in 1962, where he was former president of Kosciusko County Collection and manager of Kosciusko County Reporting. He then owned Northern Indiana Recovery and AAA Vehicle Lockout Service, Warsaw. He also drove vans for Explorer Van, for several years, to various places for transport.
He was survived by his wife; his step-daughter: Crystal Marsillett, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Trinity and Logan, Warsaw; a brother: Richard (Ollie) Kollmann, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister: Dorothy Weaver, Indianapolis; three nephews: Keith Kollmann; Kevin Kollmann; Larry Weaver; and a niece: Catherine Smith.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; a niece: Karen Green; and his best friend: Charlie Johnson.
There are no visitation or funeral services planned. Private burial will take place at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle, Warsaw.
