During this time of struggles with budget cuts, we want to continue to provide the best programs and services possible while responsibly cutting spending. Please consider helping the library during this time with donations of craft supplies. We need new crayons, construction paper, glue stick, googly eyes, stickers, dinner or desert size white paper plates and paper lunch bags which will be used during our story hours and other programs.
With departmental staff cuts, we are always looking for youth volunteers who would be willing to help us with preparations for our programs and some committed adult volunteers who would be willing to help with continuing the Teen Drop-in-Zone game programs and assisting with the monthly Legos Club.
Donations can be brought to the Children’s Reference desk anytime during library hours. If interested in volunteering, contact Stephanie for Youth Volunteers and Patricia for adults at 574-275-6011. All adult volunteers will need to complete a volunteers application and have a background check.
