MudLOVE Purchases Employee Bicycles
MudLOVE buys locally, acts globally and rides to work. MudLOVE purchased eight bicycles from The Trailhouse Bike shop in Winona Lake, for their employees to commute to work by bike rather than car. With the Warsaw Development Team and the Ball State Imagine Warsaw group planning city improvements, MudLOVE decided to be ready for the upcoming changes to the city by purchasing the bikes. They also hope to encourage the community to see the benefits of riding to work.
Owner Luke Wright, an avid cycle commuter himself said, “MudLOVE wants to make a difference in our community to support healthy lifestyles and encourage the planning of more Greenways. We want to “be the change” and hope others will be too.”
With a staff of nearly 30 people, riding bikes will help some of the parking and traffic issues in downtown Warsaw and The Village at Winona. Along with employees receiving a bicycle, MudLOVE has created an internal cycling incentive to further encourage cycling to work. This will also help reduce our carbon footprint and will create a cleaner environment.
