Collier’s School Of Dance Announces New Class
Debra Collier’s School of Dance is excited to announce the kickoff of their newest class program, “Art of Praise.”
“This liturgical style class will combine the art of dance with the heart of praise,” said program creator Tammy Seibold. “The class will focus on how the students use dance to express themselves and convey the meaning of the contemporary Christian music we will be using.”
The class will incorporate various styles of dance using praise and worship music from such popular artists as Matthew West, Chris Tomlin, NewWorldSon and many others.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to use my passion for dance in this way,” said Seibold. “Our studio is about developing students as people, not just dancers, and this class will do just that. It will provide students with a way to have an outward expression of deep thoughts and emotions, and to display a visual message of joy.”
The class will be offered from 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on Mondays in September. The class is open to students age 8 and older. Registration is currently open for the studio’s annual classes.
