Mantis Skate Part Announces Upcoming Competition
Mantis Skate Park, located at 400 Little League Dr. in Boggs Industrial Park, Warsaw, will host its Annual Skate Competition on Saturday, July 27. Registration and practice will begin at 10 a.m. The competition will begin at noon. Cost to enter is $5 per person.
There will be four divisions for skateboarders and rollerbladers to compete in: novice, beginner, intermediate, pro.
Mantis Skate Park is a fully-supervised, family-friendly skate facility for all ages. Helmets are required at all times, but some are available in the park to borrow. All skaters must have an annual waiver on file before skating or participating in the competition.
Spectators, friends, and family are encouraged to watch the skate competition at no cost.
The competition is proudly sponsored by Karma Records of Warsaw, Penguin Point and Stafford’s Solid Waste. A rain date is planned for Aug. 3, if necessary.
