WCS Registration And Open House Events
Late registration will take place on on the following dates: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31; 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2.
This is a time for parents new to our corporation or families with a kindergarten student to enroll their children. The office staff and computer lab will also be available for those who have not previously registered online and for parents needing additional information for the 2013‐2014 school year. Textbook rental payments will be accepted at this time.
Teacher assignments may not be completed, specifically at the elementary level. Classrooms may not be available for visiting and teachers will not be present. For those students enrolling in middle school or the high school you may find classes and lockers during the times listed.

Other welcome events will include:
- Claypool Elementary open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, for all students in preschool to sixth grade. Students and parents are welcome to meet teachers at this time.
- Eisenhower Elementary will host an open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
- Harrison Elementary will hold a “Meet Your Teacher Night” from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, for all grade levels.
- Jefferson Elementary will host an open house for kindergarten and new families from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. First to third grade families will be welcomed from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and fourth to sixth grade families will be welcomed from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Leesburg Elementary open house will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, for all students in preschool to sixth grade. Class lists will be posted. Students and parents are welcome to meet your teacher at this time.
- Lincoln Elementary will hold an open house from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. Parents are encouraged to bring their child to the school to meet teachers and put supplies in their child’s desk. The PTO will be serving hot dogs in the cafeteria from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Madison Elementary will host an open house from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. Class lists will be posted and families will have a chance to meet teachers and enjoy some ice cream.
- Washington STEM Academy will hold “Welcome to Washington STEM Academy” from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. Please join the staff for dinner as the Washington PTO will provide pulled pork sandwiches, salad, cookies and beverages.
- Lakeview Middle School will host “Parent Night” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21.
- Edgewood Middle School will host “Parent Night” from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21.
- Warsaw Community High School will host freshman orientation at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8.
