Renis Baldridge
Renis Baldridge, 75, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 11:57 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, in her home.
She was born Feb. 13, 1938, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Henry and Nona (Ousley) Bradley. She lived in Kosciusko County since 1955 after moving from Kentucky.
On June 14, 1955, she married Arthur Baldridge in Prestonsburg.
She was a machine operator for Whitley Products in Pierceton for 15 years and a member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of Silver Lake, Silver Lake, Ind. She was a very kind and giving woman who never knew a stranger. She loved her husband very much. She always put her children first and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apples of her eyes.
She is survived by her husband: Arthur Baldridge, Pierceton; three sons: Johnny (Sandy) Baldridge, Prestonsburg, Ky.; James (Sally) Baldridge, Columbia City, Ind.; and T. Leon (companion, Trisha) Baldridge, Palestine, Ind.; a daughter: Nona (Kerry) Hughes, Pierceton; a daughter-in-Law: Jane Baldridge, Pierceton; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother: Tavis (Mary Lou) Bradley, Denver, Ind.; three sisters: Arvilla (Donald) Slone, Warsaw, Ind.; Mimie (Monroe) Howard, Martin, Ky.; and Biddie (Harold) Reffitt, Fulton, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jerry “Randy” Baldridge; her parents: Henry and Nona Bradley; five brothers: Mont Bradley, Dennis Bradley, Adam Bradley, Leo Bradley, Cleo Bradley; and three sisters: Loretta Hurd, Aggie Click and Sabra Bradley.
Visitation is Saturday, July 27, at 2 p.m. until the Monday service at 11 a.m. in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of Silver Lake, Silver Lake. Pastor Carl Hughes, Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of Silver Lake, Silver Lake, will officiate. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
