Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Sunday, July 28, 6:56 p.m. South Circle Drive near Lake City Highway. Drivers: Roger L. Runyon, 40, East Wooster Road, Pierceton; and Veronica Rodriguez, 43, South Circle Drive, Warsaw. Runyon ran his mo-ped in to Rodriguez’s vehicle as she attempting a right-hand turn. Damages: up to $1,000.

Saturday, July 27, 4:04 p.m. North Detroit Street near East Fort Wayne Street. Drivers: Cameron C. Thomas, 20, SR 25, Warsaw; and Brittany M. Creekmore, 21, Packerton Road, Warsaw. Thomas rear-ended Creekmore. Damages: up to $5,000.

Saturday, July 27, 9:44 a.m. East Center Street near South Taft Street. Drivers: Paula J. Oldag, 61, Eagle Point CT, Fort Wayne; and Larry E. Garver, 47, Thornbriar Lane, Fort Wayne. Drivers collided when Oldag attempted a lane change. Damages: up to $5,000.

Friday, July 26 5:07 p.m. U.S. 30 near Anchorage Road. Drivers: Stephanie P. O’Brien, 28, Lydia Dr., Warsaw; and David Calhoun, 52, Pook Road, South Whitley. O’Brien was following too closely and was unable to avoid a collision with Calhoun. Damages: up to $10,000.

Friday, July 26, 9:05 p.m. Intersection of U.S. 30 and SR 15. Drivers: Stephanie J. Dixon, 42, East Arthur Street, Warsaw; and Claudia G. Hernandez, 41, Sharon Street, Warsaw. Drivers collided when Dixon attempted left-hand turn towards westbound U.S. 30. Damages: up to $10,000.

Friday, July 26, 11:04 p.m. East U.S. 30 near East Van Ness Road. Drivers: Jessica Bare, 21, Nutmeg Ridge, Plymouth. Driver struck deer. Damages: up to $2500.

Saturday, July 27, 10:07 a.m. South Huntington Street near railroad tracks on West Railroad Avenue in Syracuse. Driver: Michael L. Griewank. Concessions trailer came unhooked from Griewank’s truck causing damage to trailer and highway sign. Damages: up to $2,500.

Saturday, July 27, 12:47 p.m. North SR 13 near Syracuse-Webster Road. Drivers: Karly Bowling, 24, East Maple Grove Street, Syracuse; and Amber Weems, 24, East Jackson Street, Parker City. Bowling was following too closely and unable to avoid a collision. Damages: up to $5,000.

Monday, July 29, 9:09 a.m. Highland View Drive near North Elwood Drive. Driver: James L. Riegsecker, 58, Millersburg. Driver struck NIPSCO utility lines running across roadway. Damages: up to $5,000.

Sunday, July 28, 12:27 a.m. South SR 25 near South Wausau Street. Drivers: Jonathon L. Rhoads, 44, Hummingbird Drive, Mentone. Driver struck a parked car. Damages: up to $1,000.

Sunday, July 28, 8:11 p.m. North Airport Road near East 300 North. Drivers: Peyton C. Blayze Balaz, 18, 400 North, Warsaw; and Timothy C. Ahlersmeyer, 18, Walnut Drive, Warsaw. Blayze Balaz rear-ended Ahlersmeyer. Damages: up to $5,000

Saturday, July 27, 11:51 p.m. South SR 25 near South Wausau Street. Drivers: Kimberly A. Dubbs, 39, Administration Boulevard, Winona Lake; and Jason D. Miller, 27, Clear Creek Trail, North Manchester. Dubbs attempted to pass Miller as he turned left. Damages: up to $25,000.
