Warsaw Welcomes Air Show On Saturday
The Air Show of Warsaw and EAA Fly-In will be held Saturday at the Warsaw Municipal Airport from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A full day of family fun events is planned.
Free admission to the air show gains access to a hot air balloon launch, airplane rides, a flight simulator and NASCAR driver Johanna Long who will be there with her #70 car. There will also be a display of antique and experimental aircraft and radio controlled airplane demonstrations.
The air show will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with aviators Alan Hoover, Mike Wild, Bob Richards, Ralph Lutes, Greg Aldridge and Patrick McAlee.
Admission is free and the airplane rides are available at a cost. Local food vendors will be available, including Rudy’s Dog Park, which will be raising money for the county’s only dog park located at the corner of CRs 100 East and 300 North, Warsaw.
A rain date for the air show is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24, should the event be canceled due to bad weather.
