Larry Ray Templeton
Larry Ray Templeton, 55, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of North Webster, Ind., passed away at 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Warsaw.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1957, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Esco Willis and Kay Frances (Parr) Templeton. He graduated in 1976 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse, Ind., and was a United States Army Veteran. He grew up in North Webster area, lived in Florida for 20 years as well as Muncie, Ind., for 6 years before returning to the Warsaw area 3 years ago.
He was employed at Shiloh Industries, formerly Contech Castings, in Pierceton, Ind., for the past 3 years. He formerly worked at Merchant Metals in New Paris, Ind., Bic Corporation in Florida and Breyers Ice Cream in Florida. He was a member of the Warsaw Bowling Association and Professional Bowling Association (PBA). He was also an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by two daughters: Hailey (fiancé, Aaron Marshall) Templeton, Warsaw; Corrine Posciask-Templeton, Davenport, Fla.; a son: Sterling Templeton, Auburn, Ind.; two grandchildren; a brother: Kevin Templeton, Dunedin, Fla.; and former wife: Debbie Pearson, Nappanee, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: William ‘Bill’ Templeton.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 and CR 500 N., North Webster. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the funeral home with Pastor David Smitley of the North Webster United Methodist Church officiating. Private family burial will take place at the Mock Addition to the North Webster Cemetery.
