MICHIGAN CITY – The Warsaw freshman volleyball team earned a third-place finish Saturday in the Michigan City Invitational.

The frosh Tigers defeated Kankakee Valley 25-8, 25-17 and South Bend Clay 25-6, 25-7 in pool play. New Prairie beat Warsaw 25-24, 25-20.

Warsaw concluded play by beating host Michigan City 25-13, 25-12 in the third-place match.

The Tigers, now 5-2, play at Goshen Thursday.
