After School is Cool Tuesdays
Join Miss Heather at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Milford Public Library and have fun creating beautiful sand jars and enjoying a nutritious after-school snack.

Children kindergarten through fifth grade will especially like the library’s After School is Cool program. No sign-up necessary.

On Oct. 15, Miss Heidi has a special Game Day planned for the after-school crowd. You won’t want to miss this activity!

Afternoon Knitting Club
Knit one, pearl two with the girls at afternoon knitting club from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4. Bring your project and join the club for some fun! If you can’t make it on Fridays the library also has an evening class from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.

Scrapbooking Club
Do you love taking pictures but hate sorting them? Come to the Scrapbooking Club and they will help you organize your pictures from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7. The group meets in the library meeting room by the Children’s department.

Lapsit
Fall Lapsit with Miss Heidi begins at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8. Lapsit is for children 0-3 years old with their caregiver. It is a 20-minute program filled will finger plays, songs, and books. This fall’s theme is “Monkeys!” Sign up at the children’s desk.

Fall Preschool Storytime
It is that time of year again, Storytime! Miss Julie and Miss Heidi have a lot planned this year!

Our themes are: Seeds; Good Night, Sleep Tight; Weird Science; Spiders!; Lunar Adventures; Hair, Hair, Everywhere and Let’s Get Cooking! There will also be the annual Thanksgiving feast.

Program times are Wednesdays, 10:15 am or 1:30 pm; or Thursdays at 7 p.m. starting Oct. 9 and continuing through Nov. 27. Preschool storytime is for children 3-6 years old. There will be finger plays, books, crafts and a snack. Sign-up at the children’s desk.
