MasterWorks Festival’s Sunday Series Begins
With the new season upon beginning, Christian Performing Artists Fellowship invites the public to attend the first of the Second Sunday Series for the 2013-14 season. This month’s concert is entitled “The Season Begins!” featuring guest pianist, Lori Rhodin, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
Included in the program are a monologue titled “Uncle Vanya,” a solo cello piece composed by Miklós Rózsa, a musical theatre piece, and a sonata for cello and piano. The evening will end by singing a few hymn favorites. Special guest artist Lori Rhoden, professor of piano at Ball State University and the MasterWorks Festival, will be performing a piece by Beethoven for the concert.
The Second Sunday Series is free and open to the public at Rodeheaver Auditorium, between Park Ave. and 9th in Winona Lake. Doors open at 7 p.m. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
