Shoemaker Memorial Fund Established
Friends and family of Aurora Shoemaker have established a memorial fund in her name to help with funeral expenses.
Shoemaker was 18 when she went missing in August 2012. Her remains were discovered Sept. 29 of this year in a wooded area near Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park. Authorities are so far saying foul play is not suspected, but the remains have been sent to the University of Indianapolis for further forensic analysis.
The fund has been set up at PNC Bank as the Aurora Marie Shoemaker Memorial Fund. Donations can be made at any PNC bank branch.
