Area Police Reports
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Tuesday, Oct. 22, 8:22 a.m. Police were called in reference to a male subject who violated a protective order. A traffic stop was initiated and police found Benjamin Coble, 37, of Leesburg, to be driving without a valid driver’s license. He was also arrested for OWI, felony battery, felony resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
Milford Police Department
Officers of the Milford Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1:06 p.m. Nicholas Waikel, 22, was arrested at his home in the 100 block of West First Street for possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Tuesday, Oct. 22, 11:28 p.m. Richard Hyde, 41, of Warsaw, was arrested for OWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and resisting law enforcement. The incident happened in the 3500 block of Lake City Highway.
- Tuesday, Oct. 22, 12 p.m. Scott Powell reported a burglary/forced entry to his home in the 1800 block of Michaels Street, Warsaw. An Xbox and games were stolen. The value of the stolen goods and damages was estimated at $1,300.
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Tuesday, Oct. 22, 10:10 a.m. Police responded to the 12600 block of North Syracuse-Webster Road for a report of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
