Second Sunday Series: ‘A Musical Autumn’
Christian Performing Artists’ Fellowship invites you to attend the November Second Sunday Series concert, entitled “A Musical Autumn,” featuring guest actor Rich Swingle.
Second Sunday Series is free and open to the public. It will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at Rodeheaver Auditorium (between Park Avenue and Ninth Street) in Winona Lake. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Included in the program are several acting pieces, solo piano pieces by Chopin and a tango by Piazzolla. As is their custom, they will end the evening by singing a few hymn favorites.
Swingle has performed in hundreds of venues in 25 nations, mostly with 12 one-man plays he has written or developed. He has performed off-Broadway, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (the largest arts festival in the world), in many places across the country and internationally, as well as performing in the 2008 Beijing and 2010 Olympics, and in Singapore during the Youth Olympics and Singapore Youth Day.
Swingle has also spoken and performed at more than 40 colleges and spoke at the Ivy League Congress on Faith and Action.
CPAF, sponsor of the summer MasterWorks Festival, is a non-profit organization that seeks to train and minister to artists worldwide. During the fall and spring, CPAF offers free concerts to the community the second Sunday of the month. For more information, call 574-267-5973.
