Stimmel’s Finances Frozen Amid Investigation
The financial accounts of Samuel Scott Stimmel, doing business as Night Shift, North Webster have had a court ordered hold issued.
Dan Hampton, county prosecutor, filed on Nov. 1, a request to place a temporary hold on Stimmel’s financial accounts at Teachers Credit Union where four different accounts are listed. The request was filed in Kosciusko Circuit Court and approved by Judge Michael Reed.
Documents note that through the service of a search warrant, the banking accounts were identified in Stimmel’s name and the business of Night Shift.
The judge’s ruling orders Teachers Credit Union not to allow any business transactions, including withdrawals, to take place until further ordered by the court.
Stimmel was among five individuals arrested late Wednesday, Oct. 30, and early Thursday, Oct. 31, when police simultaneously executed warrants at a hotel in Warsaw and at Stimmel’s businesses: California Dreamin, 108 E. Washington St., North Webster, and Stimmelator’s Gentleman’s Club, 114 E. Washington St., North Webster.
As a result of the warrants, Stimmel was charged with corrupt business influence, two counts of dealing in a synthetic drug lookalike substance and promoting prostitution.
His bond was set at $100,000, but Stimmel bonded out of jail within hours of his arrest.
