Warsaw Leads NLC Race
GOSHEN – The Warsaw boys and girls athletic programs lead the way in the Northern Lakes Conference all-sports trophy standings through the fall sports season.
The Warsaw boys programs collected 55 points during the fall seasons.
The Tigers won NLC championships on the boys’ side in both cross country and tennis this fall.
The other league titles in boys’ competition this fall went to Concord (football) and Goshen (soccer).
Northridge is second in the boys’ standings with 48 points, followed by Concord (42), Goshen (40), Plymouth (33), Wawasee (28), Elkhart Memorial (22) and NorthWood (20).
The Warsaw ladies lead the league standings with 52 points accumulated in the fall.
Northridge is also second in the girls’ standings with 49 points. Concord is third with 36, followed by NorthWood (35), Elkhart Memorial (31), Goshen (29), Wawasee (28) and Plymouth (28).
Northridge won NLC championships in girls’ soccer and cross country, while Memorial claimed the volleyball title and NorthWood the golf crown.
