Frontier Airlines Announces Nonstop Trenton Flights
Frontier Airlines today announced it will expand its low-fare service at Indianapolis International Airport with the addition of nonstop service to Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing, N.J., beginning April 29. To celebrate this announcement, Frontier is offering fares as low as $49 each way to Trenton-Mercer Airport through Nov. 16.
Frontier is the only airline providing scheduled service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital, all of central New Jersey, and Southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia.
“This is a great day for consumers as we bring a new low-fare option to Indianapolis area residents, providing a time and money saving option to customers throughout the region,” said David Siegel, Frontier’s chief executive officer.
“Customers who fly to Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy a newly upgraded airport with an improved customer experience and convenient access” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “And customers can always find great value fares at FlyFrontier.com.”
“We are pleased that Frontier Airlines will be providing our market with increased connectivity to the strategic Northeast region,” said Chris Matney, air service director for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. “Frontier’s low-fare focus will make for a welcome non-stop option for corporate and leisure passengers with travel needs in that region. We look forward to working with our airline partner to help make this another successful non-stop destination from IND.”
Service between Indianapolis and Trenton/Princeton will be in addition to existing nonstop service from Indianapolis to both Denver, Colo., and Cancun, Mexico.
All Frontier flights to Trenton/Princeton will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft, which offer many customer amenities, including five rows of comfortable stretch seating with an additional 6 inches of legroom, and the airline’s select seating product. Frontier’s website, FlyFrontier.com is the only place stretch and select seating is available at the time of booking.
In addition to saving money at Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) customers also save time. Conveniently located near exit 2 on I-95, Trenton-Mercer Airport allows customers to enjoy a hassle-free, relaxed airport experience. When the airport reopens tomorrow, it will feature additional parking, improved baggage service, increased capacity at security and a gate area featuring additional seating, restrooms and concessions.
