Warrior Freshmen Throttle Chargers
LIGONIER – Wawasee used an all-around team effort Monday night to pick up its first freshman boys basketball win, 47-24, at West Noble.
A trio of Warriors scored nine points each in Spencer Prescott, Tim Conley and Cameron Schlabach, Conley adding five rebounds on the night. Tossing in six points each were Adrian Crabb and Rylan Kuhn.
“Great team defense the whole game, and great bench play,” stated Wawasee coach Vince Rhodes. “All-around team effort on both ends of the court. Nice to get our first win.”
Wawasee (1-1) will take on Central Noble Thursday evening.
