The Kosciusko Community YMCA will be hosting its annual Frigid 5K Road Race on New Year’s Day. The race begins at 1 p.m. Jan 1.

Runners will start the race across the street from the YMCA at the Kosciusko County Community fairgrounds, run through Winona Lake and finish back at the fairgrounds.

Race day registration, packet pickup and warm-ups will be inside the YMCA starting at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 1. Age group awards will be given out at the awards ceremony following the race. Chili will also be served.

Stop by the YMCA on Smith Street in Warsaw or on Main Street in North Webster to register. Registration is also available online at kcymca.org.
